More about me

My name is William Gustafsson Jonson. I'm from Sweden

who just finished my final semester at Academy of Arts University

in San Francisco, and I am aspiring to be an Art Director.

I want to draw upon the experiences I have gained from living all around the world, Sweden, Switzerland (twice), the Philippines and now the US, in order to find the best solution in the most fitting media. Advertising is very different depending on where you are in the world, the drama in Asian ads, the realness in the Swedish ones, can bring a lot to the kind of "soulless" American ads.

With these experiences I've had I want to use the skills I have learned during my education, whether it be the adobe creative suite, or one of the many various AI tools, I want to use what's necessary to bring a creative and clever solution to the problems brands face.

So if I am not losing my mind over InDesign formatting or After Effects editing I’m either in the kitchen cooking good food and drinking great wine, enjoying music or an exciting thriller while maybe planning the next ski day, which was difficult when living and studying in San Francisco.
